{Romans 6:19} I speak 3004 z5719 after the manner of men 442 because 1223 of the x3588 infirmity 769 of your 5216 flesh: 4561 for 1063 as 5618 ye have yielded 3936 z5656 your 5216 members y3196 x3916 servants y1401 x1400 to uncleanness 167 and 2532 to iniquity 458 unto 1519 iniquity; 458 even so 3779 now 3568 yield 3936 z5657 your 5216 members 3196 servants y1401 x1400 to righteousness 1343 unto 1519 holiness. 38
I speak:
"But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? [Is] God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)" {Rom 3:5} + "Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?" {1Co 9:8} + "If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die." {1Co 15:32} + "Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though [it be] but a man's covenant, yet [if it be] confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto." {Gal 3:15}
because:
" Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." {Rom 8:26} + "We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves." {Rom 15:1} + "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin." {Hbr 4:15}
for as ye:
"Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God." {Rom 6:13} + "But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you." {Rom 6:17} + "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." {1Co 6:11} + "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: ... Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others." {Eph 2:2-3} + "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: ... In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them." {Col 3:5-7} + "That he no longer should live the rest of [his] time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. ... Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you]:" {1Pe 4:2-4}
unto iniquity:
"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" {Rom 6:16} + "Your glorying [is] not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?" {1Co 5:6} + "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners." {1Co 15:33} + "But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. ... And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;" {2Tm 2:16-17} + "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;" {Hbr 12:15}
now yield:
"Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God." {Rom 6:13}
unto holiness:
"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life." {Rom 6:22}
