a widow:
"They shall not take a wife [that is] a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he [is] holy unto his God." {Lev 21:7} + "And he shall take a wife in her virginity. ... A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, [or] an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife." {Lev 21:13-14} + "A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;" {1Tm 3:2} + "One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; ... (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)" {1Tm 3:4-5} + "Even so [must their] wives [be] grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. ... Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well." {1Tm 3:11-12} + "If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly." {Tts 1:6}

Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that [is] abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance." {Deu 24:1-4}
