set:
"Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them," {Ezk 6:2} + "Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop [thy word] toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;" {Ezk 20:46} + "Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop [thy word] toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel," {Ezk 21:2} + "Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;" {Ezk 25:2} + "Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it, ... And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her." {Ezk 28:21-22}
Pharaoh:
This was Pharaoh-hophra, or Apries, who, Herodotus informs us, agreeably to the character given him by the prophet, "proudly and wickedly boasted of having established his kingdom so securely, that it was not in the power of any God to dispossess him of it." "Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life." {Jer 44:30}
against all:
"The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, ... For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with [them that are] slain with the sword, [even] Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD." {Ezk 30:1-32:32} + "Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which [is] beyond the rivers of Ethiopia: ... And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it." {Isa 18:1-19:17} + "In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it; ... And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such [is] our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?" {Isa 20:1-6} + "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all [them which are] circumcised with the uncircumcised; ... Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all [that are] in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all [these] nations [are] uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel [are] uncircumcised in the heart." {Jer 9:25-26} + "[To wit], Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as [it is] this day; ... Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;" {Jer 25:18-19} + "Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying, ... He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh, that [is] in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire." {Jer 43:8-13} + "Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah. ... He made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another: and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword." {Jer 46:2-16} + "Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence [against] the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land." {Jol 3:19} + "And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that [have] no [rain]; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. ... This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles." {Zch 14:18-19}
